About

Backstory

I am a first, and foremost, a people person with a passion for accessibility and international design. I originally hail from an island outside of Seattle and journeyed over to Michigan to experience a different side of the United States for college. I started my educational journey as a psychology major interested in forming human connections. My interest in people and desire to create actionable impacts eventually drew me into UX design.

Design to me is communication between one person to another; therefore, it is crucial to ensure those connections are available for everyone. At the center of my design framework is the balance between collaboration and cooperation. I believe that distributing tasks between each member on a project allows for personal ownership and to meet project timelines. Collaboration provides an opportunity for each member to exchange ideas at every step of the design experience. Both of these need to work in tandem to create a truly strong product.

Taking in the mundane.
